Supporting my sister and helping her at the Relay for Life year after year isn't really what I imagined myself doing 5 years ago, but here I am! My role in this whole gig is spreading the news around the Relay every year, so that we can raise more and more money for the ACS. I'm so happy to be able to help!

I'm the "financeer" behind Charms for Cures. In the summer of 2014, I helped my daughter make almost 100 charms for the upcoming Relay for Life. We were able to spend some quality mother-daughter time while also honoring my sister, who had just recently passed due to lung cancer.  I'm so proud of her for creating this charity that is helping so many people.

I started this business at the 2014 Downtown San Diego Relay for Life as a way to help the American Cancer Society. My aunt had died the year before of small cell lung cancer, and one of the last things I did with her was make her a bracelet out of Rainbow Loom rubber bands. I'm so glad to be doing something that's so close to my heart year after year.
